Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

February 22, 2016

We are well past Christmas but BW/Cook Service Experts is bringing the season of giving into February. The HVAC and plumbing company who services the areas near Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky family a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We were eager to help a family stay safe and warm during the cold season,” said Mick Hoeflinger, General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. “We were elated to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to provide a new furnace to a family in our local area.”

The winner will receive an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the business’s premier names in heating and air conditioning equipment. The furnace is valued at approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the new owners money over time through lower utility bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s highly trained technicians, who are experienced in installing a wide assortment of makes and models of HVAC equipment, will install the unit and walk the winners through the best operating practices.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always excited to be involved with the local community. Currently, they are sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box Skating Rink, a local ice skating rink in South Bend. They also plan to sponsor several local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team of Elkhart.

“We have been an integral part of our community since 1911. We care about the comfort of our customers, and it means the world to us to bring a little extra comfort to a home who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t just the first time Service Experts has helped a local community member in need. A few years ago, Service Experts upgraded the heating and cooling system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was suffering from a rare brain tumor and, because of his weakened immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was critical to protecting his health. Two years ago, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new heating and air conditioning system, with installation, to a widowed immigrant mother of two boys. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new heating and air system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.

To register for the furnace giveaway though February 26th, watch ABC-57 weekdays at 6:00 p.m. and watch for the code word. Then, enter the code word at ABC-57.com. One entry per day is allowed, using that day’s code word.

Stay warm and stay informed with BW/Cook Service Experts, Lennox, and ABC-57.
