Sales Training
The sales training is comprised of:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes annually.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes each year.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) different sales classes offered for General Managers twice a year, totaling four-and-a-half training days, focusing on sales culture and day-to-day sales management.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians contains:

  • Heating and cooling system tune-up procedural training biannually
  • Heat exchanger and carbon monoxide inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ twice a year
  • Ongoing NATE certification and specialty courses on demand

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional instruction through the launch of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc curriculum to better train our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to provide support, tools, and framework for operating a business from the P&L perspective.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Semiannually, participate in outbound calling with a one (1) day class. In this course we study HVAC basics, why people buy, calling skills, scripts, customer purchasing indicators, and mastering customer complaints.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training given. As needed training given by the General Manager and appropriate staff at the center.
